How is the text done on "real" military dog tags?
Real military dog tags generally have the text in the following order:
- LAST NAME
- FIRST NAME / MIDDLE INITIAL
- SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER
- BLOOD TYPE
- RELIGION
United States
- $3.00 for USPS First Class Mail (5-7 Days)
- $6.60 for USPS Priority Mail (2-3 Days)
- FREE for regular orders over $50.00 in USA(does not apply to large bulk orders)
Canada
-$3.50 for USPS First Class Mail (10+ Days)
Rest of World
-$4.50 for USPS First Class Mail (10+ Days)
Because of the size of these dog tags they may not be suitable for some "toy" sized dogs or cats.
These dog tags make great pet tags because the text is deeply embossed and will not rub off in time like most pet store 'engraved' pet id tags.

When we receive an ONLINE order with payment, the dog tags are generally made and shipped the next business day.
The tags are shipped by U.S. Mail and will usually arrive anywhere within the continental U.S. within 1 week.
We have found that shipments to Canada can take up to 2 weeks or more to arrive.
They eventually do show up.
MAIL orders, which have the longest delay, can take a week to arrive here and another week to be shipped back.
